Iron & Amber Glass Gothic Art Nouveau Lantern
A slick, black wrought iron structure gives this early 20th century, semi-flush mount light fixture a striking appearance. It combines Gothic Revival and Art Nouveau styles, with notable whiplash curls, as well as egg-and-dart trim, stylized poppies, and bellflower accents. Bound C-curve iron details decorate the six amber-yellow water-glass panels. The hexagonal structure is open at the top and bottom and has six up-lights; medium size sockets. Short-length, spiked chains attach to a center canopy. Newly rewired. The replaced glass is of the period. 20.25" width/depth x 23.25" height.
