Asian Etched Bronze & Champleve Enamel Urn Vase as Lamp
An early 20th century, patinated, cast bronze and champleve enamel vase that has been converted into a lamp; in an urn shape with an intricate greek key motif and handles cast with bird faces. Champleve is a technique that creates recesses in metal by etching or casting and then filling with enamel. The Asian flora and mythical fauna design features light blue, royal blue, white, red, green and pink. Newly wired with two medium based sockets. Mounted on a complimentary wood base. Circa 1900-1909. 8" diameter x 23" height.
